Validation and Verification (V&V) Engineer – Entry – Bachelors
Core Job Responsibilities
• Specify, design, and create automated test solutions for verifying and validating (V&V)
new product specifications
• Utilize programming skills to develop test applications running on desktop and
industrial PCs
• Integrate software and hardware to fully support project teams for existing and new
products using measurement instrumentation
• Execute test plans and methodologies, collect data, and generate reports to review
data
• Collaborate and interact with a wide variety of NI staff in R&D software and hardware
organizations, as well as employees from other business groups in Hungary and
Malaysia
• Review and approve product specifications and customer user documentation for the
product
Qualifications
• B. S. in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or electronics
Engineering
• 5+ years’ experience in Systems/Product Verification/Validation Engineering, within a
regulated systems/product environment (FDA regulated medical preferred).
• Strong understanding of computers and high-level programming languages (e.g.
LabVIEW, TestStand, C/C++, Java, Python)
Knowledge of:
• Testing and troubleshooting techniques
• Data exploration
• Sources of measurement error
• Appropriate selection of instrumentation
• Statistical analysis of data
• Object-oriented programming
• Software design and architecture
• Integration of hardware and software
